Well, I got the 31 spline trac loc setup back, thanks in part to Axle Clutch and Gear of Des Moines. Went to the local shop, and got some degreaser, some carb cleaner, a wire brush, some primer and some paint, and went at it. These first two pics, of course, are the car without the rear end.

This picture shows the rear assembly with the primer coat on. It went on nice and smooth. I was impressed, for a rear end that was somewhat rusty after its 15 years on the road, it cleaned up rather well.

This, of course is the freshly painted rear end. Looks awesome, wonder how long it will stay clean :)
